What Is A Forever One Moissanite?
We’ve chatted all things Forever One moissanites in a previous blog post, but let's have a quick refresher! There are two types of Forever One moissanites out there - DEF and GHI. DEF is considered colorless while GHI is considered near-colorless. To the untrained eye, most cannot tell the difference between the two, but for those that can, GHI moissanites have a slight “warmness” to them in certain lighting. Both GHI and DEF stones overall provide ample sparkle and are both considered eye-clean!

What Is A NEO Moissanite?
Moving on to NEO moissanites, it is another brand but has the same chemical compound as a Forever One moissanite - silicon carbide.

What Are The Similarities Between Forever One and NEO Moissanites?
When it comes to similarities between these two moissanite brands, there’s quite a few! For starters, they are both conflict-free and ethical. Both of the stones are created in a lab.
Additionally, both NEO and Forever One moissanite brands come with a lifetime warranty! While each of them have their own stipulations, the good thing is that your stone will be covered for optical properties like color and clarity, and for physical things like chips, breaks, scratches, and abrasions!
What’s The Difference Between Forever One and NEO Moissanites?
For the differences between these two stones, there are a couple things worth noting! The first is appearance! When looking at the two moissanite stones side by side, one may notice that NEO has less of a “rainbow effect” with a double down refraction compared to Forever One. You might be able to spot a difference depending on what metal color the stone is set in, but the untrained eye might not catch it.
For cost, NEO moissanites cost less than Forever One moissanites. Even though they are priced differently, they are both high-quality moissanites; NEO moissanites are not a lesser quality because of their price.
