Some form of a day honoring fathers has been practiced across the world since the Middle Ages. The first official Father’s Day celebration in the U.S. was in 1910, organized by Sonora Smart Dodd, one of six children raised by her father, a veteran of the Civil War, after their mother died. Yet it took another 56 years before Father’s Day was officially recognized in U.S. as a national holiday, on the third Sunday in June, by President Lyndon Johnson (President Richard Nixon signed it into law in 1972).

Tungsten

Cobalt
is a highly durable, scratch-resistant metal with a bright white hue. Resembling platinum, cobalt carries more heft on the finger as it is a bit heavier than other metals. Check out the Rosados Box collection of laser-etched and polished men’s bands.
Zirconium, or black zirconium
Exposing zirconium to a high heat turns it black. Paired with rose gold, these bands make a striking rocker-chic statement.
Titanium
