A lab diamond is grown in a lab and exudes the same physical, chemical, and overall appearance of a natural diamond. Some may believe that these stones are fake, but they are truly the real deal!
Lab Diamond vs. Natural Diamond
When it comes to lab diamonds versus regular diamonds, there are a few important differences worth noting. To start, the difference between lab diamonds and natural diamonds cannot be seen by the naked eye. Gemologists are able to tell the difference by seeing if the stone contains nitrogen. If it does, then it is a natural diamond. If not, then it is a lab diamond.
Another factor is that lab diamonds are more ethical compared to natural diamonds. Natural diamonds are mined and the mining practices that people conduct are not very admirable. If budget is also something that is important to you, lab diamonds are more budget-friendly compared to natural diamonds. Â
