What Is Sologamy?
Before we get into the rings, let’s chat about sologamy itself! This act formalizes deep self-love and is where people choose to marry themselves. You may be wondering, is this legal? Marrying yourself is not legal here in the United States and it is not a legal binding contract - you don’t have to stay single forever and you are able to marry someone if you meet them!
This may sound like a crazy concept, but there are actually some well-known sologamists! If you are familiar with Sex & The City, you may remember that Carrie Bradshaw married herself in the show! In real life, celebrities Adriana Lima and Emma Watson were former sologamists that decided to profess their self-love and rock a ring on their ring finger.
