Why Do We Use Conflict-Free Stones & How Do We Source Them?
Utilizing stones that are fairly selected and not illegally sold is important to us. Conflict diamonds, also known as “blood diamonds”, are illegally sold to fund civil wars and other conflicts. This doesn’t just apply to diamonds, it also applies to colored gemstones as well that are from 47 other countries - these gems have been tied to environmental damage, child labor, and other criminal activities. Not cool, right?
Here at our shop, we only use conflict-free stones and they are sourced from our tight-knit community of suppliers who understand our commitment. Additionally, our jewelry uses gemstones traded under the Kimberley Process, which was developed by the United Nations to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the mainstream diamond market. The gemstones used here are only premium cut, fairly traded, and/or conflict-free. The accent diamonds on our rings are always natural and never treated or enhanced for better clarity or color.

What Makes Us Sustainable & Ethical?
Sustainability is essential to us and our way of life at our shop! All of the paper that we use in our studio is either recycled or harvested under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. It doesn’t just stop there! Our metal that we use to cast our rings is casted from refined and recycled alloys. Gemstones need a good foundation to sit in and if the quality of metal is poor, the foundation will be weak, thus leading to stones falling out left and right. You won’t have to worry about that with our jewelry though!
Last, but certainly not least, our jewelry boxes are made with materials that are sustainably sourced such as vegan leather and sustainably forested papers. Our commitment for a better Earth goes beyond our products - we continually find opportunities to contribute back to our communities!
